Brioso wall mounted cooker hood by Britannia

Britannia is fit for a Prince at Ideal Home Show

24TH MARCH 2014

We are delighted that our kitchen appliances are being showcased at the Ideal Home Show 2014 within three energy-efficient ‘Prince’s Houses’ designed by HRH Prince Charles' charity.

Designed in collaboration with The Prince's Foundation for Building Community, the three eco-houses – which are 70% more energy efficient than current building regulations require – have each been fitted with a Wyre range cooker, and an Intimo or Brioso cooker hood from Britannia.

Marketing Manager Michael Haigh comments: “It’s great to be involved in such an exciting project which demonstrates that choosing energy-efficient products needn’t be too expensive or restrictive when it comes to planning a home.

“We have selected our most economical and eco-friendly efficient products for these houses – combining designer looks with professional features and the latest in technological innovations.”

The eco-homes feature our A-Rated Wyre Dual Fuel 90cm range cooker in matt black and Intimo canopy hood in stainless steel with an intelligent Advanced Sensor Control (ASC) system which automatically detects smoke, steam and vapours.

In addition, our wall mounted Brioso cooker hood in stainless steel, which has capacity to replace up to 800 cubic metres of air per hour while operating at low noise levels, has also been selected for the homes.

Visitors to the Ideal Home Show over the next week will be able to visit the Prince’s Houses, and after the show the houses will be relocated to the Dumfries House estate where they will make up someone's home.

Michael continues: “These innovative eco-homes will be on show at the Ideal Home Show at Earls Court until the 30th March 2014, so make sure to come along and take a look.”
