Britannia Built-in Induction Hob | Induction Hotplate from Britannia

1ST DECEMBER 2009
Traditionally famous for its stylish, high specification range cookers, Britannia is fast building itself a real reputation for its built-in hobs and this looks set to be sealed with its first induction model.built in induction hotplate

Borrowing from the cutting edge technology of its induction range cookers that were launched last year, Britannia’s brand new 90cm induction hob offers all the convenience and efficiencies of induction cooking in a sleek hob format.

Like all Britannia appliances, great looks are accompanied by great performance.  The stylish, black glass hob offers five cooking zones with nine power levels, touch controls and boost function that work together to deliver a more precise, controllable cooking experience, which will enhance the preparation of everything from very delicate sauces to more robust dishes that demand a greater intensity of heat.  Features such as residual heat indicators, a child lock, an anti-overheat device and a pre-programmed switch-off, that kicks in should the maximum operating time be exceeded, meanwhile, ensure the very highest levels of safety.

The hob also has auto-heat up for each zone and a ‘keep warm’ function, which will keep finished sauces or dishes at temperature until they’re ready to be served; and has been designed to be extremely easy to clean and maintain.

Britannia’s 90cm induction hob will retail at £1,499.  For further information, please contact Britannia on 0800 073 1003 or visit www.britannialiving.co.uk.
