Beautiful Kitchens features Britannia range cooker in 'perfectly purple' kitchen

23RD AUGUST 2012
The bold purple walls can be repainted to give the kitchen a fresh new look at a later date.

Adopting the motto ‘don’t move, improve’, Clare and Richard Edwards decided a kitchen revamp was just what their house needed to give it a contemporary feel.

The couple extended their kitchen, featured here in Beautiful Kitchens magazine, and replaced the existing conservatory with a glass walled extension. This created a large open plan living space; perfect for cooking, dining and socialising.

The stainless steel range cooker complements the grey chimney mantel

The elegant kitchen features a stainless steel 100cm Sigma range cooker with two ovens, four burners and a versatile Chef Top. The double oven is great for family cooking or for preparing a number of dishes when entertaining friends, and sits perfectly alongside the neutral grey cabinets.

Clare chose a vivid purple shade for the feature walls citing it as an easy feature to update at a later date. She said: “I love this shade of paint, and I can change it in years to come to alter the look of the room.”
