Turning Up The Heat On Kitchen Colour

16TH FEBRUARY 2008

While appliances in stainless steel, white, black and cream remain a popular choice, demand for bolder colourful products for the kitchen is increasing. This is particularly true of the range cooker, which although a feature in its own right, can become a truly show-stopping centrepiece when a splash of colour is added.  Certainly, judging from sales of Colourange, which allows customers to colour match their cookers to any conceivable shade, colour in the kitchen is here to stay.

The Colourange service from leading range cooker specialist, Britannia, allows customers to colour match their cookers to any source of inspiration whether it’s a Le Creuset pot or some kitchen scales.

The colour matching process is simple: send a sample of the chosen colour – whether it’s a kitchen tile, swatch of fabric or even a teacup - to Britannia’s colour laboratory, where a swatch is coloured to the desired shade and returned for approval. Once the customer has signed off the colour, Britannia will custom-finish the range cooker.

Colourange is available on all Sigma range cookers, Dynasty range cookers and Classic range cookers and, to ensure a fully-coordinated kitchen, is also available on Britannia’s K7088 and AG cooker hoods.

Colourange prices start at £4,249 for a colour-matched 90cm range cooker; at £4,679 for a colour-matched 100cm range cooker. A 110cm range cooker can be custom finished for £5,549, while a 120cm range cooker can be finished in your chosen colour for £6,349. Britannia’s top of the range 150cm colour matched cooker is just under £9,949.
