Cooking With Colour With Britannia Range Cookers

17TH MAY 2008

Playing on the success of its popular Colourange, Britannia has just added three new colours as standard options to its Sigma 100cm Range Cooker.

The Sigma Editions collection comprises the choice of Ice Blue, Candy Pink and Velvet Red range cookers, and will complement the existing options of Stainless Steel, Gloss Black and Cream.  It is available on one of the range cooker specialists’ best selling models, the Sigma 100cm with six gas burners, while matching plinth kits and hoods can also be supplied on request.

Henneke Duistermaat, Director of Marketing at Britannia, comments:  “While Britannia is most famous for its quality and specification, the success of Colourange means that we’re also gaining a reputation as the most colourful of range cooker specialists.  As such, with no sign of the trend towards colourful kitchens abating, we were keen to bring to market a wider variety of shades that would help consumers achieve the high-impact look more affordably.”

She continues:  “In addition to looking at the colours most frequently requested through Colourange, we also carried out research with both range cooker retailers and consumers, and felt that these pastel shades and the warm red would appeal most strongly, and complement perfectly the sleek, modern styling of the Sigma.”

The Sigma is Britannia’s most prestigious range cooker model, offering an impressive specification, including a six burner hotplate with two triple ring burners, a nine function oven with Quickstart pre-heat system and a fully automatic programmer and minute minder, plus a four function oven with rotisserie.

Range cookers from the new Sigma Editions collection are priced at just £2,999.
