Quiet
We’ve engineered in quietness by adding extra insulation around the oven cavities and three layers of glass panels to the doors. So you can take pleasure in your cooking without being disturbed by too much noise. Engage in conversation with your friends and indulge in a glass of wine while a sumptuous dinner gently cooks in the oven.
Energy rating
With the exception of E Line range cookers, all Britannia ovens are A rated for energy efficiency. This is the most efficient rating for cooking appliances.
Safety
All Britannia range cookers are fitted with a thermostatically controlled fan to prevent the fascia and control knobs from overheating. The doors of all ovens (excluding E Line range cookers) are triple glazed – again to prevent the doors from overheating. And each oven is fitted with a light for good visibility.
All our gas burners are fitted with flame failure devices to shut-off gas supply if a flame is accidentally extinguished. Please see our induction page to read about safety features for electric hob cooking.
For added safety and convenience, all Britannia range cookers can be fitted with telescopic sliding oven shelves. Even when fully extended, the telescopic system is safe, providing a convenient way of serving directly from the grill pan or oven tray.
Guarantee
All Britannia appliances are guaranteed for two years. Extended warranties are available – your Britannia retailer can give you full details. Please note that all guarantees and warranties relate to domestic installations.
