Britannia LPG range cookers

All Britannia range cookers can be converted for use with bottled gas (LPG). Our ovens are electric, so bottled gas will only be used for hob cooking. A standard bottle will provide months of cooking pleasure before it needs to be replaced. Click the images below to browse our range cooker selection. Alternatively, if you know which size and colour you’d like, you can also use our Quick Assistant to find an LPG range cooker.

LPG cooking

LPG gas is an effective solution when natural gas is not available. LPG gas carries all the major advantages of natural gas including precision control, speed and power.

Our range cookers provide a variety of gas burners. LPG gas provides heat which is instant and controllable just like mains gas. Whether you want to gently heat a delicate sauce or provide a surge of power for searing steak on your Britannia griddle, there will be a burner for your cooking needs.

The Britannia Chef Top is available as an option for most of our range cookers. The Chef Top can be converted for use with LPG. The Chef Top is made from high-quality solid stainless steel. Anything from a full breakfast to a stir-fry, steak or salmon – all can be prepared on a Chef Top. Watch the video to find out how to cook on a Chef Top or come to one of our live cooking demonstrations.

LPG is not only fast and efficient, giving out much less carbon dioxide than natural gas, it is also a great option for those who want to remain environmentally friendly. And all Britannia gas burners come with flame failure devices for safety. A flame failure device shuts off the gas supply to a burner if the flame is accidentally extinguished.
