Range Cooker Colours and Finishes
When choosing your range cooker colour, you need to consider your overall kitchen colour palette.
In addition, you need to consider whether you want your range cooker to blend in or to stand out. If you have a cream painted kitchen, you could have a cream range cooker installed so that it blends in beautifully with the kitchen cabinets. Alternatively, you could have a black range cooker so that the cooker stands out and provides a focal point in the kitchen.
Britannia’s standard range cooker colours are stainless steel, black and cream. In addition to these colours, there is a limited edition of colours for some Sigma range cookers. Find out more about the latest colours on the Sigma Editions range cookers page. If you want something really special, something that only you own, then there is also Colourange – a colour matching service that allows you to have your cooker in any colour you can dream of!
Stainless steel continues to be the most popular colour option. After all, it goes with just about any kitchen - from a contemporary gloss white kitchen to a more traditional oak kitchen. All Britannia range cookers are available in stainless steel.
Black is second in popularity. Black comes in two variants. Gloss black, and then graphite, which is more a matt black colour.
Cream is a more understated colour than stainless steel or black. It’s a popular choice for natural wood finish or hand painted kitchen cabinets.
